how did you come up with the name of your blog there is also a song called „Hot Gossip“ by Robots in DisguFirst I came up with the name „HotGossip“. I don’t know why, it just crossed my mind and ise, which is one of my favorite bands. But after a two months I got a little annoyed by the name and it didn’t fit with myself. In fact, I got a more personal one and now I call it „ViCreative“, a combination of my name and how I am. when where you introduced to fashion I was always in touch with fashion since I was born. My mother was in the fashion sector herself and had her own children’s collection. That’s also where I got my beautiful dresses from. I have to admit that it took me a while to find my own style and the courage to wear crazier pieces. By the time, I’m glad I’ve found my style – but I’m always open for changes. how do you describe your style It’s a mix of casual and elegance. I always like to spice simple outfits up with great pieces of accessory and not to mention with heels. Although I’ve got to say that I usually don’t wear heels during the day, because I’m always on the move and I’m still not used to wear them. Sometimes my outfits are more flippy but always very colorful. Lately I’ve been discovering my mother’s closet and try to mix old vintage pieces with my pieces. what made you start a fashion blog My father’s cousin, who is a designer for one of the world’s best designer, had her own fashion blog. So I thought why I shouldn’t do it myself as well. I’m living in South Tyrol, which is in the north of Italy, but blogger are rare. It suddenly came to my mind. I started blogging a little, but I barely got some feedback. I cancelled my blog, but after some days I recovered it and started to be serious about it. what do you think you bring to the fashion blog world Fresh and inspiring looks – that’s maybe the best to describe ViCreative. I’ll see how my blog is progressing – of course I hope to get more readers in order to be able to make bigger projects. how is your style different than everyone else That’s a tough question. Check out my blog and you’ll see ;-) who is your inspiration Almost everything. My mother influences me a lot – with her style, personality and honesty. Love her. Every new day inspires me.
>what impression do you want to leave on the people that visit your blog That’s tricky. I don’t know. Everyone has to form a view of it individually. However, I definitely want to leave a positive impression of them.
who is your favorite designer Karl Lagerfeld is a genius, but I also like other unknown designers like Cheap Monday, Volcom, Nikita. My favorite designer for bags is Miu Miu. And I definitely go for Zara, H&M and ASOS. what piece is a must have in your closet
Jeans and skirts. I have dozens of them. I’ll show you them soon :-)

2. Lace shirt
Alexander Wang

(This one's not on the list because I know good and well I didn't want a bathing suit. Just thought it was pretty.)

Pucci

3. Leather skirt (Isn't this gorgeous? I love the pleats.)
Derek Lam
4. Ankle boots
Nicholas Kirkwood

David Koma
5. The coolest ankle boots I've ever seen. They remind me of La Sagrada Familia.

how did you come up with the name of your blog The name SWAY started long ago... I adopted it as my own purely based on its strong meaning "to influence and control". We all know life is impermanent so we must find ways to take control over the things that affect our lives. The three digits "925" is seen on Sterling Silver jewelery, it represents a mix of 92.5 percent silver and other metals. I've always had an obsession with sterling silver jewelery (rings especially) so naturally, SWAY925 was born! when were you introduced to fashion
I remember as a child flipping through the tele to find something fun to watch when I stumbled across Fashion Television. It was at that very point that my love for fashion began. how do you describe your style My style can be described as ANDROGYNOUS - I have a tendency to buy and wear men's clothing (and accessories etc) and pair them with feminine pieces to create an androgynous appeal. My wardrobe choices tend to change day to day based on my mood but I ALWAYS choose my SHOES FIRST prior to deciding on what to wear... I like to work around my shoes. It's a bizarre concept (so I've been told) but I have an insane obsession with shoes and prefer them to be the focal point in my outfits. My other unhealthy addictions includes sterling silver jewelery and leather! what made you start a fashion blog I've always been an avid fashion blog/site reader and started noticing people who had similar pieces of clothing/shoes but worn so differently. It was inspirational and mind blowing to see items being worn in ways I would have never imagined to be worn! That's what led me to start my own blog... I decided that perhaps my style, opinions and thoughts about fashion would inspire someone else and motivate them to also voice themselves.
what do you think you bring to the fashion blog world I hope that my style, views and thoughts on fashion can inspire someone and I can only hope that I bring something new and refreshing to the table. I'm fairly new to the blogging world and have already gotten such great feedback and comments from readers! It's truly amazing, very appreciated and greatly motivating to keep blogging! how is your style different than everyone else My style is different in the sense that I like to bring the best of both worlds into play... boy meets girl... man vs woman... Venus and mars. I also have a tendency to rework items and make them
my own... I will buy accessories then take them completely apart and recreate them to become something totally different. I'm experimental and adventurous and love to mix new and old items to create an edgier style. who is your inspiration We are all inspired by someone... if not by celebrities, than by our mothers, siblings, friends or colleagues. I am inspired by models off the runway as they have such an effortless and unique interpretation on street style and I look to men's fashion for inspiration as well. Readers will notice that I always have a song up with my post... I am a huge music lover and am inspired by musicians such as Shirley Manson, Gwen Stefani, Brody Dalle, Leslie Feist and Melissa Auf der Maur just to name a few. what impression do you want to leave on the people that visits your blog I would love to leave readers with something refreshing and inspiring. We all have something to say whether it's about fashion or life... so I hope after viewing my blog readers hear my voice. Fashion isnt just about clothes... it's also about feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin... you can look smashing in something basic as you would in something designer. who is your favorite designer The list is endless... but if I had to narrow it down it would be ANN DEMEULEMEESTER and RICK OWENS. Both designers are notorious for their use of dark and neutral color palettes but they also take basic items and turn them into bold statement pieces. Rick Owens is infamous for his work in leather and minimalism, while Ann Demeulemeester is known for her gothic fashion. They're both unbelievable designers!
what piece is a must have in your closet Basics are essential... cotton t shirt/tank, a pair of really good denims, a blazer and a classic leather jacket can take you further than you know. It doesn't matter what the trend is or what's fashionable at that given moment... a wardrobe is built upon a series of basics and it is the foundation to a spectacular closet! When in doubt my go to items are... a pair of skinny denims, black cotton t and a pair of ankle booties... throw an over-sized blazer into the mix and I'm ready to head out the door! :)

True colors

2NE1 - Follow Me

This video is pretty darn cool! It came out a few months ago, but I just saw it for the first time today. Apparently this group is going to try to make a U.S. debut...

Anyway, the reason I'm posting this is because 1. It has some funny moments (Darth Vader in the house!) 2. The song's catchy, if you like pop 3. Their makeup is pretty cool, and 4. They're wearing some dope outfits, including some stuff we'd all recognize!

Check it out, and I hope you enjoy!

P.S. I'm thinking of doing a regular feature, like "Music Monday" or something, where I post a song I've been listening to a lot lately or whatever, and maybe include an outfit inspired by the song music, lyrics or artist. I'd also take requests. What do you think?

Latest Photoshoot: A different kind of Beauty

This week I have had the great honor and pleasure of assisting Dubai's premier Makeup Artists Dennie Pasion and Kat Sumners in a Bareface production for Emirates Airlines aboard the legendary A-380 airplane, and returned home yesterday evening only to find the finalised images in my inbox from a previous Test shoot with the incredible photographer Martin Beck. What a great day!

When Martin and I first met in preparation for this shoot it was clear that we both wanted to shoot Beauty ... but ... a somehow different kind of Beauty. We both wanted something edgy & fun ... but moreover certainly different.

Our model was french Femme Fatale Alexandra P from Bareface who I just love to work with. Over and over Alex's breathtaking beauty just blows me away.

I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome! Thank you Martin for these ever so beautiful images!! Thank you Alex for your great expressions and poses ... and being this "perfect little human being".

Risking to rob the male population of the illusion that girls like our gorgeous model Alex hang out near insect laboratories, here some Behind The Scenes images infusing reality.
